I have a passion for teaching and practicing yoga, living a holistic lifestyle, and tuning into what it means and feels to be human.
Naturally a sensitive and intuitive person, I found the devotion of my life and work in the core of my very being. I’m dedicated to helping others feel at home in their body, at ease in their mind, and balanced in their everyday life through yoga, proper hydration, and a holistic lifestyle.
Originally from New Hampshire, I now reside and teach in Lake Tahoe, CA. My yoga journey began long before I even realized and came to fruition during my time living in New York City. When my driven, passionate 23-year-old self graduated college from Fairfield University and moved to NYC is when the shift to finding my life’s purpose really occurred. It was the first time I didn’t have my safety net of family, friends, and nature nearby. I was bombarded with the sensation of feeling alone in a very big city and was anxiously working to build a career in the fast-paced, high-powered production industry.
I started seeking something that would make me feel supported within myself, something to equate with the feeling being out in nature gives me, and something that would ease my anxious, existential woes. I found sanctuary in a tiny studio in my then Brooklyn neighborhood which became my escape from city life and the place where I found what I was searching for. This studio eventually became the studio where I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training and became a Yoga Alliance certified teacher.
Soon after, I quit the job that was hurting my soul and moved to California.
Since then, I’ve completed another 200-hour yoga teacher training with Luminous Heart Institute in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in September 2018.
All in all, my goal is to create a place where I not only share yoga and holistic tips and recipes, but use my own life experiences to help others achieve balance, find their truth, and feel their very best emotionally and physically.
